I've been going nearly weekly for about four years now to grab a to-go burrito because when I first started, the food was so dang good. My experience of late has been that when the food is well-prepared, it's super yummy. But you just can't count on it, perhaps depending on the cook that day. All too often over the last year and a half, when I have gotten home with a to-go burrito, it has been missing all the extras I ordered and paid for (guacamole, Mexican cheese, etc.). Same with the food quality - it has been really uneven lately. I drive a bit out of my way to go here, but I notice that I have been going less and less.

Only got tacos, but almost every single one of them. The Baja fish was very light and airy similar to Baja, all the meat was very good. Great neighborhood spot with very cute backyard al fresco seating

Yumm! Love the fish tacos and plantains here. I've had the veggie burrito for takeout in the past and it's good. Seating and dining areas are really really beautiful and adds to the experience, and service is great.

Casual and c uterestaurant which has outside seating. Heaters present if you visit during winter. Employees were approachable and friendly. Food: steak fajita was dry and it didn't have taste. I did enjoy the guacamole and the fajita veggies. Also I ordered corn tortilla and I was given flour. Or is it that I don't know how to tell the difference. I know it was white and smelled like flour. The burrito was good. Big size and the ratio of the ingredients, including the meat (carnitas) was good. Parking: they have a small parking at the back of the restaurant, otherwise it's street parking.

Their pozole is absolutely delicious - we come here just for that! Wouldn't recommend their steak burritos as the tortilla and meat were a little too dry for my taste. Their steak tacos were just okay as well. The people are super friendly and if you want to dine in, it's a nice place to that as well on a warm day since their dining area's mostly outdoors. Even though it's a smaller parking lot, I've usually always been able to find parking still.

La Mission is delicious. Always on point. The patio and indoor seating was perfect for any time of the day. Great service and perfect ambiance. Had some crispy fish tacos and enchiladas and left with a smile. There's also free parking in the back. Can't wait to be back.

This is my favorite go to for some mole. It is delicious. They have the best chips and salsa. I always order the mole and add plantains. They are consistent and we travel to come here to enjoy their delicious food. We enjoy it most in the summer out on their patio. Been coming here for years and we enjoy every visit

Great Mexican food in the heart of Berkeley. On University Ave. Looks like a converted Taco Bell from the street. They du have a parking lot which is a plus Menu ha a lot to offer. Last time I tried the chicken mole enchiladas which were tasty. This time we got a couple different huge burritos which were quite yummy They offer 3 different bean choices. The pinto beans w/chorizo have a good spicy kick to them.Outside patio is nice surrounded by a bit of foliage Only a couple tables inside. Order at the counter. Quick service. Frequently has lines if you go during busy times of the day. Serves beer Cookies behind the counter looked inviting! Pet friendly. A must visit if you are in the area with a hankering for Mexican food.

Finally had the chance to stop by here again today for lunch with my girlfriend. This visit, I got a pork Mole Poblano burrito that was absolute perfection - the lightly sweet / spiced flavor profile of the mole combined with the pickled onions, jalapenos and carrots was absolutely delightful. Also, based on my experience last time, I opted out of getting guac and sour cream in my burrito and instead decided to get guac on the side. This was absolutely the right call. It definitely fixed the issues I had with my burrito last time and made the eating experience all the more enjoyable. Updating to a 5/5 because my gripes last time were my own fault. Would definitely recommend stopping by here - I will be back again for sure!
